These terms are the agreement between you and Load It, operated by Kimberly Chahat ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship in California. Creating an account means accepting them, which is why the sign-up screen asks before it will finish. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
They are written in plain English on purpose. Where a sentence has to be formal to do its job it is, but nothing here is hidden.
Strength training carries a real risk of injury, and no app can see your form, your history, your joints or how you slept. So:
By using Load It you accept those risks yourself.
Load It is the tool a coach writes programs in. It is not a coaching service, and we do not stand behind anybody's coaching.
Your content stays yours. Your workouts, programs, notes, photos and videos belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run the app for you and to show them to the people you have chosen — your coach, or a client you coach. Nothing else. We do not use your content to advertise, and we do not sell it.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload, and nothing illegal, abusive, or that identifies somebody who has not agreed to appear.
One consequence of how coaching works, so it is not a surprise later: a program a coach wrote and assigned to a client stays with that client if the coach deletes their account. It is that client's training record by then, not the coach's to withdraw.

Load It is free while it is in testing. Paid plans for coaches are likely later. If that happens you will be told before anything is charged, and nothing you already have will start costing money without your agreement.
Anything ever bought through the App Store or Google Play is handled by Apple or Google under their terms, including refunds. We never see your card.
Features get added, changed and occasionally removed. We aim to keep Load It running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted service: servers fail, deployments go wrong, and the companies underneath us have outages of their own.
Your training records matter, so nothing here stops you keeping your own copy of anything important to you.
You can leave whenever you like: Settings → Delete account in the app removes your workouts, programs, measurements, messages and uploads. It cannot be undone, and the Privacy Policy says exactly what goes and what stays.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts other people's data or safety at risk, or where we are required to. Unless it is serious or we are not allowed to, we will tell you why and give you a chance to sort it out.
Load It is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about it — not of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement — and we do not promise that it will be error-free, that it will always be available, or that using it will produce any particular result for your strength, your body composition or your health.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost data, or for injury arising from training you chose to do. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with Load It is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it arose, or US$100 if that is more.
Some places do not allow those exclusions, and where that is true of where you live, they do not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for our own fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
If you coach through Load It, you are responsible for claims that come out of your own coaching, and you agree to cover us for claims brought against us because of it.
Required by the App Store, and true: this agreement is between you and us, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to support Load It, and no responsibility for it or for anything in it. If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price — which is nothing, as the app is free — and beyond that Apple has no other obligation. Apple may enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
We will update this page and change the version at the top, and your account records which version you agreed to. If a change materially affects you we will tell you — in the app or by email — before it takes effect, rather than relying on you having noticed. Carrying on using Load It after that means accepting the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute belongs in the courts there — except that if you live somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring a claim locally, you keep that right.
Before anything reaches a court, please write to us. Almost everything is faster to fix than to argue about.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean giving it up.
