Load It is a strength-training app for coaches and the people they coach. This explains what it stores, why, and what it never does. It describes the app as it actually works.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To identify your account. It comes from whichever sign-in you chose. |
| Display name, profile picture, bio, birthday, phone — all optional | So a coach knows who they are training. |
| Workouts, programs, sets, weights | The app's whole purpose. |
| Gym equipment: bars and plates you own | To calculate which plates go on the bar. |
| Body measurements you enter | To show progress over time. |
| Messages between you and your coach | To deliver them. |
| Images and videos you upload | To show them on the exercise you attached them to. |
| A device token, platform and device name | To send push notifications. Only if you allow notifications. |
If you connect Apple Health, Load It reads three things:
It reads only. Load It never writes to Apple Health, and never asks for anything beyond those three. You are asked before any of it is read, and you can withdraw access at any time in the iOS Health app, under Sharing.
Readings are stored alongside the measurements you enter by hand, so your weight chart is one line rather than two. They are visible to you and to a coach you have an active relationship with.
| Who | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Runs the database and sign-in, and stores uploaded images and videos. |
| Google Cloud | Runs the server the app talks to. |
| Apple and Google | Only if you use Sign in with Apple or Google. They confirm who you are; they are not told what you do in the app. |
| Expo | Delivers push notifications to your device. |
Each handles data on our instructions, to run the app. None is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Load It never sees your password. Signing in happens with Supabase, Apple or Google, and the app receives only a token saying the sign-in succeeded. If you use Apple or Google, there is no password at all.
Settings, then Delete account, in the app. It removes your workouts, programs, measurements, messages and uploads. It cannot be undone.
One exception, so it is not a surprise: if you are a coach, programs you wrote and assigned to clients stay with those clients. They are their training records, not yours to remove.
Until you delete it. Deleting your account deletes it.
Load It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Everything travels over HTTPS. The database is not reachable from the internet — only the app's own server can connect to it. Sign-in tokens are kept in the device's secure storage rather than ordinary app storage.
No system is perfect, and we would not claim otherwise. If you believe something is wrong, please write to us at the address below.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the app will say so. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
Load It is run by Kimberly Chahat, a sole proprietorship in California, United States. That is who decides what happens to the data described above, and who answers a request about it.
